Lot 85: SOUVENIR TANKARD FROM THEORIENT LINE VESSEL THE ORONSAY
Fantastic souvenir tankard from the RMS Oronsay from the Orient Line shipping company which is in a very good condition and dates from the 1950’s/60’s and shows on the front the name and company flag and is 4″ (11cm) tall.
[The SS Oronsay was the second Orient Line ship built after World War II. She was named after an island off the west coast of Scotland. During World War II, she was commandeered as a troopship and was later torpedoed and sunk off the coast of Africa]
