Lot 55: A Trio of Rotary Mechanical Skeleton Wristwatches
A trio of Rotary mechanical wristwatches featuring skeletonised movements. Each timepiece is constructed with a polished silver-tone metal case and a skeletonised dial that reveals the internal mechanical components, including gold and silver-toned gears and blued screws. The movement is encircled by a silver-tone chapter ring marked with black Roman numeral hour markers. The dial is inscribed with the Rotary brand name and winged logo at the 9 o’clock position, and Est. Switzerland 1895 between 4 and 5 o’clock. The watches are used and are fitted with brown leather straps that have contrast top-stitching and pin buckles. At least one movement is confirmed to be ticking.
Condition report:
The watches are in used condition. The polished metal cases show light surface scratches and minor scuffing consistent with wear. The leather straps show signs of use and creasing. The crystals appear to be in good condition with no major chips or cracks visible. One movement is ticking; the remaining watches have not been tested for timekeeping accuracy or mechanical functionality.
