Lot 76: Rotary Stainless Steel Quartz Wristwatch Reference GS08000/18 SWISS MADE
A Rotary stainless steel quartz wristwatch, model reference GS08000/18. The watch features a circular silver-toned two-zone dial with printed Arabic numerals and a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position. It has blued leaf-shaped hour and minute hands. The dial is signed Rotary with the winged logo and marked 1895 above the 6 o’clock position and Swiss Made at the bottom edge. The polished stainless steel case has a snap-on case back engraved with the maker’s name, winged logo, and Est Switzerland 1895, Waterproof, and Swiss Made. An adhesive label on the case back bears the reference GS08000/18. The watch is fitted with its original Rotary-branded black alligator-grain genuine leather strap and a stainless steel pin buckle.
Case size: 39mm. new ticking when photograph original box or documentation is present.
Condition report:
The watch appears in good overall condition with light surface scratches to the case consistent with occasional use. The crystal is clear. The leather strap shows light wear but remains in good condition. The movement is untested; working order cannot be guaranteed and a battery replacement may be required.
